Shavings solution for a messy keeper?
I love my big horse but man, is he a messy keeper. None of the other horses in the barn destroy their stall like he does. The shavings are constantly wet from him dipping his hay in the water and from him walking through his poop/pee. Any cost effective solutions? We go through sooo many shavings.

I put my horse in a turnout
Submitted by onthebit on Mon, 02/08/2010 - 16:40.I put my horse in a turnout for most of the day, that way he is only "using" his shavings at night. Plus, he is much happier being outside able to move around more!
